Whisk butter, sugar and egg in a bowl until smooth. Then add curd, flour and semolina slowly and stir in well. Let the curd dough rest in the fridge for one hour.
To form the dumplings, first moisten your hands with water and flour the work surface. Take a portion of dough in one hand, place the chocolate ball or some nougat in the middle and form it into a dumpling.
Cook for 20 minutes in the steamer. Optionally, bring water to the boil in a pot and let the dumplings simmer for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the nut crumbs. Melt the butter in a pan. Add the hazelnuts with coconut blossom sugar and roast. Roll the cooked dumplings in the crumbs and garnish with icing sugar.
