Peel three bananas the day before and freeze them in whole pieces. Just before preparation, take the bananas out of the freezer and cut them into pieces with a sharp knife. Afterwards let them thaw for 5 minutes, so that the bananas can be mixed to a creamy consistency afterwards.
Mix all ingredients in a high speed blender/ food processor or with a hand mixeer until a creamy, frozen consistency is achieved. I usually mix for 3-4 minutes.
Fill the acai smoothie in bowls and add your favourite toppings on your bowl.
