Strawberry-Crumble with vanilla ice cream

- 200 g flour
- 100 g sugar
- 100 g cold butter
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 vanilla bean or 1/2 tsp vanilla aroma

- 350 g strawberries or berries/ fruits of choice
- 350 g blackberries & blueberries or berries/ fruits of choice
Außerdem brauchst du
- 60 g almond flakes
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Wash the strawberries, remove the green and cut into pieces. Wash blackberries & blueberries as well. Then place the berries in a large ovenproof baking tin.
For the crumbles, mix flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon and pulp of a vanilla pod in a bowl. Add cold butter (straight from the fridge) in pieces and crumble with the flour-sugar mixture between your fingers. Add the egg and work into crumbles using a dough hook of the hand mixer or your hands.
Bake the crumble for about 45 minutes. If necessary, towards the end of the baking time, cover the pan with aluminium foil. Serve the crumble hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
