Crunchy Almond Granola - Homemade

This crispy almond granola recipe deserves your complete attention. The ingredients make a super "crunchy" texture and a wonderful breakfast or snack moment.

Zutaten

  • 290 g oats not shredded
  • 100 g buckwheat
  • 80 g oats
  • 80 ml coconut oil melted
  • 70 ml honey
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tbs almond butter
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Anleitungen

  • Preheat oven to 165°C.
    Combine oat flakes, buckwheat, almonds, salt and cinnamon in a bowl and mix. Now stir in the almond butter, honey and melted coconut oil with a kitchen spatula. You can melt the coconut oil either in a water bath, in a heat-resistant container in the oven or in the microwave. Sometimes I also heat the honey because it is best mixed in a completely liquid state.
  • Spread the raw granola mixture on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Lightly press the mixture down with a spatula (about 1 cm thick). Bake the granola for 20 minutes. Half time, turn the granola so that the homemade muesli is baked evenly.
  • Allow to cool completely on the baking tray. Cover with a tea towel.
    Important: Do not break into pieces until the granola has cooled down completely. The mixture is soft immediately after the oven and only hardens during the cooling process. Just be patient, because you can break the granola into chunks when it has cooled down.
